Assistant Accountant
Description
If you would like to join a really successful local firm of Accountants and manage their client accounts requirements then this Assistant Accountant position is going to be perfect for you.
Some of your duties will include:
- Managing the bookkeeping and accounts function on behalf of small business clients
- Working on behalf of SMEs, sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Preparing sales, purchase and nominal ledger records up to trial balance level
- Producing cash book records, completing bank reconciliations and investigating anomalies
- Reconciling staff expenses, petty cash expenditure and corporate credit cards
- Preparing accounts at year end and producing profit and loss reports for clients
