Despatch Assistant
Description
This small, local Company are seeking a confident Despatch Clerk to join their highly professional team and take on a range of responsibilities.
Some of your duties will include:
- Co-ordinating transportation requirements for major clients and administering a fleet of transport vehicles
- Liaising extensively with clients to schedule deliveries and allocating work to be completed to team of drivers
- Recording details of deliveries to be arranged on computer system ensuring all details are accurate
- Ensuring vehicles are legally documented and administering insurance cover and renewals
- Managing any delivery issues that arise and ensuring all issues are investigated and fully resolved
- Tracking jobs being completed from instigation point through to successful delivery to customers
