Some of your duties will include:

• Assisting the Chief Accountant with the management and control of the finance function
• Ensuring the sales and purchase ledger, cash book and petty cash are managed effectively
• Compiling and submitting quarterly VAT returns and process HMRC payments
• Monitoring outstanding debts and chasing overdue payments when needed
• Supervising the monthly payroll and pension administration and ensuring it is completed on time
• Reviewing departmental budgets, monitoring expenditure and reporting on variances
