Purchasing Manager
Description
This is a vital role and requires an experienced Purchasing Manager, you will be working for a very successful, local organisation where you will be required to ensure the right materials arrive at the right destination at the right time
Some of your duties will include:
- - Managing the purchasing function and developing successful relationships with suppliers
- - Liaising with suppliers, placing purchase orders and updating computer system with new stock deliveries
- - Sourcing new suppliers when needed and agreeing terms and conditions of business
- - Maintaining accurate computerised stock records and recording details of stock movement
- - Carrying out random stock audits, checking quality of product and verifying quantity held
- - Maintaining computerised database holding product details and cost/retail prices
